Refunds and cancellations

This offer is made to business customers only. By joining, the purchaser confirms that they are acting wholly or mainly for the purposes of their trade, business, craft or profession. Consumer cancellation rights do not apply.

Membership includes on-demand access to our online materials and attendance at live and pre-recorded webinars during your paid-up term. We may update, add or remove materials from time to time. Refunds are not available once membership content has been accessed. For the avoidance of doubt, access includes logging in to the portal or streaming/downloading any materials.

Monthly plans may be cancelled at any time before the next billing date. Access continues until the end of the paid month. No pro-rata refunds are provided.

Is this community suitable if I've never done bookkeeping before?

Yes - this community is designed to help you learn and build your confidence step-by-step, even if you are a complete beginner. Membership includes on-demand access to our online materials as well as attendance at live and pre-recorded webinars . Questions can be submitted throughout the month, which may be used to create mid-month resources. Questions not answered will be carried forward to the monthly Q&A session.

What if my business is VAT-registered?

This community is designed to support self-employed individuals who are not VAT-registered. You are welcome to join the community for accountability, but the training and resources provided are not designed for VAT-registered businesses.

What if my business needs to keep track of outstanding invoices?

This community is designed to support self-employed individuals who keep their bookkeeping records on a cash basis. If you keep your bookkeeping records on a traditional accounting basis, you are welcome to join the community for accountability and access to the Q&A sessions, but most of the pre-recorded training and resources has been designed for cash basis bookkeeping. You can opt to use traditional accounting if it suits your business better, but cash basis bookkeeping is the default basis preferred by HMRC since 6 April 2024.

Are Q&A sessions live or recorded?

Sessions are ordinarily delivered live. In exceptional circumstances, we may substitute a pre-recorded session or provide a replay. Any substitution will not reduce the overall value of the membership and will not entitle the member to a refund.

We will give reasonable notice of any substitution where practicable.

Where a substitution occurs, the session content may be provided as a recorded session based on pre-submitted questions, as a subsequent replay, in written Q&A form or as a subsequent live office-hours session.

What if I can't attend the live session?

If a session has been recorded, you will be sent the replay link so you can catch up later.

If a session has not been recorded, you will receive a written summary of the content.

What if I already have an accountant?

This community supports members with or without an accountant. Members can still use an accountant at year end but are welcome join the community to benefit from the accountability and to learn how to manage their own bookkeeping during the year.

What software do you support?

Springreach Training & Coaching currently supports VT Software, Pandle, Xero, FreeAgent and QuickBooks, as well as spreadsheets and manual bookkeeping methods.

Support for Sage Individual, FreshBooks and LimeBooks is planned.

What if I use software you don't support?

The bookkeeping process that Springreach teaches can broadly be applied to any software package. The underlying logic behind most accounting systems is similar but, if you use a different bookkeeping or accounting package, it will not be possible to provide a practical demonstration of how to deal with a particular bookkeeping issue.
